Jodie returns to the nation’s screens this weekend in the ever-so-subtly-titled Totally Jodie Marsh: Who’ll Take Her Up The Aisle? Her nationwide search to find wedded bliss began online two months ago with the launch of marrymejodiemarsh.com, a website where potential grooms could apply or audition to become Jodie’s life partner.

Those brave enough to participate in Jodie’s manhunt will battle for her affections over the coming months. One lucky entrant will share a fairytale wedding/tacky C-list shindig (delete as appropriate) destined for the pages of weekly gossip magazines with her at the end of the summer. Judging by your searches, the soon to be former Miss Marsh will have no trouble attracting suitors and viewers after ending this week as Hotlist’s 7th most searched celebrity.

Celebrity Big Bother

Jodie first sprung to public attention after appearing in 2003 TV show Essex Wives and subsequently becoming a fixture in lads’ mags. But it wasn’t until last year that her search star soared. Her tenure in Celebrity Big Brother was characterised by constant conflict with George Galloway, Michael Barrymore and Pete Burns.

It could be argued that she was the first victim of bullying in the Big Brother house yet, in contrast with Shilpa Shetty, whose treatment at the hands of Jade Goody earned her national sympathy and a string of high profile post-CBB public appearances, Jodie disappeared from view after her eviction. Will her search for a husband bring her fresh search success?
