After all, being named as the world's sexiest woman by FHM magazine seems a 100% guaranteed way to spark a surge of online searches. The Sin City and Fantastic Four star has totalled a whopping daily average of 5,455 searches following her coronation as the world's most desirable female.

After the record 8 million votes were counted, Jessica triumphed over British glamour model Keeley Hazell and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria. Brazilian model Adriana Lima and Lost In Translation star Scarlett Johansson rounded out the top 5.

But it's not just the FHM triumph that has bought Jessica Alba search success. Having celebrated her 26th birthday at the weekend, she was spotted along with Cameron Diaz, Adam Brody and Drew Barrymore giving some A-list star power to the backstage area at America's famous Coachella music festival catching the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and a freshly reformed Jesus and Mary Chain as they rocked the crowds in the Californian desert.

Ms Alba was not the only search star to claim a Top 100 place in FHM's poll. Hotlist movie perennials Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan both claimed Top 30 finishes while Hilary Duff, the youngest woman on the list, placed 39th overall. And the Brits didn't do too badly either. Girls Aloud stars Cheryl Tweedy and Sarah Harding were both voted into the Top 20 while Keira Knightley and Kelly Brook were 12th and 16th respectively.
