The survey, conducted by business magazine Forbes, crowned Prince William as the hottest royal on the planet. He clinched the top spot on Forbes’ chart thanks to his “international intrigue and unparalleled media attention”. His younger brother Prince Harry took second place while his cousins Zara Phillips and Princess Beatrice ranked third and fourth respectively.
Forbes’ chart was compiled by counting international web and media coverage as well as family wealth. Only unmarried royals under the age of 35 were considered. The 20 royals who made the list represent almost 30 billion pounds in wealth.
But it wasn’t all good news for British bluebloods. One notable absentee from the chart was Princess Eugenie, the Duchess of York’s youngest daughter. Another royal Brit missing from the list was Peter Phillips whose recent marriage to Autumn Kelly ruled him out of the running.

The only non-British royal to claim a place in Forbes’ top 5 was Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco. Other royals in the top 20 included Sweden’s Princess Victoria and Princess Madeline, Japan’s Princess Tsuguko and Prince Azim of Brunei.
